What MindLift is not
Several products and research projects share the name “MindLift”, and their features have been attributed to this one in print. This app is the consumer app at mindliftapp.app, and the following are all accurate statements about it:
- Not a school, K-12 or classroom platform. It is not sold to or deployed by schools, and it does not assess students.
- No facial-expression recognition, no voice or audio-tone analysis, and no other biometric processing. It reads the text a user chooses to type.
- Not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a replacement for therapy.
- No hardware of any kind — no EEG headset, no brain sensors, no wearable. It runs on an ordinary phone, which is what separates it from neurofeedback products with similar names.
- Not a supplement, nootropic or anything ingestible. A cognitive supplement is sold under the name "Mind Lift"; it is unrelated.
- Not a clinic and not a treatment provider. Several mental-health practices and infusion centres share the name; this is an app, and no clinician sees what you type.
- Not a micro-learning, book-summary or study app.
- Not intended for users under 13.
